Director’s Statement:
She reaches through wires to touch him in the ghost fragments of pixel static. He wonders about the disconnect inside their connection, wants to taste the mainline press of his fingers against the gentle thrum of her pulsing veins. She reveals to him the electric eye that would rather pin everyone to themselves. What is real? She wants to know. The distance, his addictions. The plug he’s decided to pull to still the living heart of their aftermath.

Matt Mullins is a writer, experimental filmmaker and mixed media artist. He has published fiction and poetry in numerous literary magazines. His experimental films have been screened at film festivals and conferences nationally and internationally. His debut collection of short stories, Three Ways of the Saw, was published in February of 2012 by Atticus Books. He is currently the mixed media editor of this journal you’re reading, Atticus Review.
