Alison Glennie is an actor and cross-disciplinary artist working in film, photography, spoken word and performance art. A longtime resident of West Cork, Ireland she began her career as a child actor in British film and television. Since relocating to Cork, she has voiced many shows for RTE radio.
She enjoys the anonymity conferred by guerrilla style iPhone photography and continues to explore the potential of iOS devices in her film making, finding them to be an invaluable tool in producing no budget shorts. Alison's short films have been screened at Absurd_ah (UK), Amarcord Arthouse (Chicago), Beara (Irl), Fastnet (Irl), Hebden Bridge (UK), Indie Cork (Irl) and Stiff (Seattle).
