His short stories and essays have appeared in Subtropics, Chicago Quarterly Review, Grist, North Dakota Quarterly, Oyster River Pages, and other publications, including the first two volumes of Hashtag Queer: an LGBTQ+ Creative Anthology and Mudville Diaries, a collection of baseball reminiscences.
