Danny Earl Simmons lives in Lebanon, Oregon, is happily married, and is the father of five sons. His poems have appeared in a variety of journals such as The Pedestal Magazine, The Main Street Rag, Chiron Review, IthacaLit,, and San Pedro River Review. He blog-curates several series of poetry: Poems I Admire, Galleywinter Poetry Series, and On Ground Beef and Certainty. One of his favorite things to do is get lost in the spark of a new poem while walking alone in the cool grey along the Willamette River. He is the author of one full-length poetry collection entitled "Tender Melancholy."
