Jen Maidenberg
Jen Maidenberg is a freelance writer and editor. Her flash CNF column, “My Time, Your Place,” published bi-monthly in District Lit from 2015 - 2017, was inspired by her time living on a kibbutz in Israel. As a freelance journalist, Jen reported for The Times of Israel on books and literature, interviewing authors Curtis Sittenfeld, Yael Neeman, Rivka Galchen, and others. Her creative nonfiction has been featured in Split Lip Magazine, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, and Silver Birch Press. She was a finalist for the 2016 Ruminate Magazine Spiritual Nonfiction Prize and both the 2016 and 2017 Autumn House Press full-length book contest. In another life, she wrote a popular weekly column reviewing Buffy the Vampire Slayer for one of the original TV blogs, ScoopMe. She is on Twitter @jenmaidenberg.
