Sristi grew up in the little-known coastal state of Odisha, on the eastern coast of India. She completed her master's in English at Ambedkar University Delhi and is currently working as a Teaching Fellow at Teach for India. Her work has appeared in the Bangalore Review, the Mysticeti Magazine and in a poetry collection published by the indie mobile bookstore, Walking BookFairs. During her master's she completed writing a dissertation on Andre Aciman's collection of essays titled, "Romancing Returns: Time, Loss and Remembrance in Andre Aciman's False Papers and Alibis." As a writer, she loves writing about the sea, and memories of growing up near it. As a reader, she likes to read a bit of everything. Her pandemic favourite is Godel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstader. She (irregularly) writes a newsletter on Substack, Chase.
