Steven Swiryn
Steven Swiryn is a cardiologist who specialized in the care of patients with heart rhythm problems (cardiac electrophysiology.) In retirement from clinical medicine, he continues teaching, and has occasionally performed in coffeehouses and bars as a singer-songwriter. His first short story, “The Unicycle,” was published in the Bellevue Literary Review and was awarded “Special Mention” by the editors of Pushcart XL. Other pieces have appeared in Does It Have Pockets and now in Atticus Review.
