Atticus Review is happy to announce our third annual Flash Fiction Contest judged by Danielle Evans. You may submit one piece of flash fiction up to 1000 words for $12. You may include your name on the cover page of your submission, but please do not put your name or identifying information on the pages containing the piece itself. Also, please no submissions from colleagues, former students, or close acquaintances of the Contest Judge.

About the judge: Danielle Evans is the author of the story collection Before You Suffocate Your Own Fool Self, winner of the PEN American Robert W. Bingham prize, the Hurston-Wright Award, the Paterson Prize, and a National Book Foundation 5 under 35 selection. Her stories have appeared in magazines and anthologies including , A Public Space, American Short Fiction, Callaloo, New Stories From the South, and The Best American Short Stories.
