How do I Collect an Atticus NFT?

Okay, you’ve created your wallet, now you’re ready to collect an Atticus NFT, but you’re not sure what to expect. This page will walk you through the process. This tutorial will show you how to collect the NFT in your browser wallet extension. We will have another tutorial in the future to show you the best way to do this on a phone or tablet.

Let’s get started!

1. Click on the button underneath the NFT that says “Collect.”

Each NFT collection we post will have a page on our site that lists all the NFTs and will show which ones are still available and which have been collected already. 

Underneath the cover image of each NFT is a button that says “Collect.” Click that button. 

A new browser tab will open and will show the details of that NFT.

2. Select Your Wallet and Click Continue

There are several popular Cardano wallets, but we recommend you use Lace as it seems to have the best compatibility with the purchasing process.

Select the Lace wallet to connect your wallet to the application. Then click “Continue.”

3. Checkboxes for Terms and Human Verification

Select the checkboxes to “Agree to Terms” and the “I am Human (CAPTCHA).”

4. Confirm the Purchase

Click “Place Order.”

A new window will open where you will need to confirm the purchase with your wallet. 

Click the “Confirm” button. 

You will then be prompted to enter your “Transaction Password.” This is a password you entered when you set up your wallet. It is NOT your seed phrase.

5. Confirmation Screen

If all goes well with your purhcase, then you will see a screen like the one here.

If the purchase fails, check to verify you have enough ADA in your wallet. Also, we have found that there are mixed results using the Yoroi wallet, so make sure you are using the Lace wallet.

6. Go to the “NFTs” section of your wallet to view your NFT!

Check your wallet to see that your NFT is listed there. You now own an Atticus NFT!

You can begin to organize your NFTs by creating different folders for them. In this example, there is a folder called “Atticus NFTs.”

That’s it! You can now collect the work of the authors you like!
