Alexis Rotella's latest contribution to the field of Japanese Poetry Forms in English is Grandmother's Pearls (Dream Poems). She curated and edited Unsealing Our Secrets, an short-pem anthology devoted to MeToo experiences (Touchstone Book Award 2018). Her haibun collection Scratches on the Moon received a Touchstone Book Award in 2020. Tim Green, editor of Rattle, interviewed Alexis (You Tube) where she read "Lost Souls," in Rattle's 2021 Poetry Competition. Alexis practices acupuncture in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is also an award-winning mobile photographer/artist.
