Poem Without U or I

Artist’s Statement:

Poem Without U or I was written to describe my reaction to the great hope of the Occupy Wall Street movement and the threat to that movement by government repression and citizen apathy. Footage was shot during the Occupation of Los Angeles City Hall and the subsequent raid on the encampment by the LAPD, CIA and Department of Homeland Security.
