Cheryl Hicks

Cheryl Hicks is an artist and writer working in East Texas. Her poetry and creative nonfiction has been published extensively in the U.S. and internationally. Her artwork has been shown across Texas and in New York. This series of multimedia pieces is titled "I Just Don't Read Like I Used To!" It is a commentary on how digital media has impacted her relationship with books. It is also a way for Hicks to combine her interest in art and literature.
